Bioanthropologyis a field of anthropology where researchers use molecular level biological data to understand the mechanism of human evolution, human genetic inheritance, human migration, human adaptabiligy and variation, primatology, and fossil record of human evolution.

The definition of BioAnthropology:
The study of the human species from an evolutionary perspective utilizing biological data from the human fossil record, comparative primate behavior, comparative genomics, genetic variation within/between populations, health and disease patterns, childhood growth and development, and linguistic data.
It is a neologism that is different from anthropology that examines human bones other physical and environmental remainings.
Bioanthropology is a broader term than molecular anthropology.
